SUPPORTING METAL STRUCTURE OF SUSPENDED CEILING Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC E04B9/10

Abstract RU 2637670 C2

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates mainly to the field of supporting structures or load-bearing constructions of suspended ceilings, i.e. supporting structures for sheets or panels, e.g. modular-type, arranged below the existing ceiling and attached to the ceiling by means of a so-called suspension, steel profiles, steel wire, profiles or other connective devices. A metal profile (2, 102, 202, 302) for a suspended ceiling comprises a main section (8) and a permanently connected engaging element (3, 103, 203, 303) attached as a single body or as a single product to at least one end of the main section (8). The permanently connected engaging element (3, 103, 203, 303) comprises a plate section (10) and an engaging lug or ridge (6) attached as one part to the plate section (10). Wherein the engaging lug or ridge (6) is detached or separated from the plate section (10) along two cutout sides (12, 13) of the engaging lug (6). The two cutout sides (12, 13) of the engaging lug (6) with respect to the plate section (10) are adjacent and intersect so as to form a free edge or an angle. The engaging lug (6) has one side (14) attached to the plate section (10). The above side is the hinge side (14) for the both cutout sides (12, 13) of the engaging lug (6), so that the engaging lug (6) has a triangular shape with a profile having a shape similar to a "7". The first cutout side (12) of the two cutout sides the first free end (12a) and a second end (12b) attached to the hinge side (14), and the second side (13) of the two cutout sides is arranged relative to the first cutout side (12) further towards the inside or the central area of the metal profile. Wherein the second cutout side (13) is designed to interact with the counter-engaging edge (4, 43) of the other metal profile in the engaged state. The cutout side (13) has a first free end (13a) as well, forming with the first end (12a) of the first incised side (12) a free edge or an angle, and the other end (13b) forming the second end of the hinge side (14). The engaging lug or ridge (6) is made with the possibility to move due to strain from the first position, in which the engaging ridge (6) is in the initial state, projecting from the plane of the plate section (10), into the second position, in which the engaging ridge (6) is displaced in the direction of the plane of the plate section (10) and is in the elastically deformed state, and back. A supporting structure for a suspended ceiling is also described.

EFFECT: reciprocal connection of the profiles with sufficient mechanical strength, providing the possibility of connecting and simply detaching a permanently connected engaging element from the metal profile during the assembly and disassembly of the supporting framework.
