FIELD: fodder production. SUBSTANCE: invention permits stockpiling in arid conditions a sufficient amount of quality animal fodder. This is achieved by preparing haulage from sweet sorghum which yields high and stable harvests in drought conditions. To keep the moisture content in green mass within 50-60% when putting haulage in long storage, said mass is passed through a press, squeezing out part of juice which is used later as animal fodder. Squeezed mass is put into trenches. EFFECT: higher efficiency.
