SUBSTANCE: absorbing product comprises an absorbing core comprising an absorbing material comprising superabsorbing polymers. The absorbing core comprises first and second channels, which essentially does not contain superabsorbing polymers and at least partially oriented in the longitudinal direction of the product. Each of the first and second channels is characterized by values of the width in the lateral direction, measured parallel to the lateral axis. The absorbing core comprises a pocket, which essentially does not contain superabsorbent polymers, and having a part disposed on the longitudinal axis of the product. The pocket is characterized by values of the width in the lateral direction, measured parallel to the lateral axis. A profile of the sum of the width values in the lateral direction of the first and second channels and the width values in the lateral direction of the pocket over a length in the longitudinal direction constituting at least 50 mm, measured along the longitudinal axis, has two separate, essentially constant parts.
