SUBSTANCE: in the method for creating the simplified first boundary of the first graphic object and the simplified second boundary of the second graphic object, the instructions for creating the simplified first and second boundaries are given. It is determined that the parts of the first and the second original boundaries are located in the nearest neighbourhood within a predetermined maximum distance. The first and the second points are selected, the first point being located on the part of the first original boundary and the second point being located on the part of the second original boundary. The simplified first and second boundaries are created, including respectively a part of the first of the simplified boundary and a part of the second simplified boundary by applying one rule of simplification to the first and the second parts of the original boundaries, so that the first point is located on the first part of the simplified boundary and the second point is located on the second part of the simplified boundary.
EFFECT: decreasing the required computing resources of the computer when processing graphic objects.
