FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: vertical partition system for mounting on a ceiling comprises a longitudinally extending suspended beam installed from the ceiling. Wherein the suspended beam comprises an upper surface opposite to the lower surface. The suspended beam comprises a plurality of mounting segments forming grooves axially spaced along the length of the suspended beam; as well as a vertical panel mounted on the suspended beam. The panel comprises a top surface opposite to the bottom surface, and also comprises an upper hook element located proximally to the panel top. The hook element is designed to engage and disengage with the mounting segment of the suspended beam for fixing the panel to the suspended beam. The bottom panel surface is located below the bottom surface of the suspended beam. A ceiling partition system and a method for installing a vertical panel in the ceiling partition system are described as well.

EFFECT: panel fastenings, simple from the mechanical point of view, and more aesthetically attractive appearance.
