SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of decorative hanging elements. The decorative element consists of the first set of wooden battens with central longitudinal holes, the second set of wooden battens with central longitudinal holes, with a tension system in the form of a metal cable or a metal chain threaded into each wooden batten of the set, and mounting elements, wherein the first set of wooden battens with the tension system lie in the same plane, and the second set of wooden battens with the tension system intersect and connect the first set of wooden battens at the intersections of the tension systems with the connector.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability and strength of the design of the decorative element, in the possibility of hanging objects on the decorative element, as well as in the possibility of using this structure for sports.
