FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vibration isolator comprises two tapered elastic bushes from wire non-woven web of rubber-metal material. Small concentric collars are made on the casing, cap and flange of a central bushing, and used to align the tapered bushes and provide for radial preloading. Axial preloading in tapered bushings is created by tightening a lower slotted nut up to the stop of the cap against the coupler screw collar and the face of the central bushing against the cap. A unit with its vibration to be absorbed is mounted on the cap and fixed by a washer, the second slotted nut and a split pin. Between the flange of the central hub and the lower slotted nut of the coupling screw there is a cylindrical helical spring consisting of two parts with oppositely directed ends. The first spring part has rectangular section turns with rounded edges, and the second part is made hollow. The opposite directed end of the first part is located in the cavity of the second part. The segmental profile gaps of the contacting spring parts are filled with antifriction lubricant. The packing seal is mounted at the end of the second spring part to prevent lubricant leakage. The first part of the spring is enclosed by the tube of a damping material. The gaps in the first part of the spring covered by the tube of damping material are filled with crumble of friction material.
EFFECT: increasing the damping efficiency at low and medium frequencies in resonant operation modes.
