SUBSTANCE: initiate acoustic emission in a controlled article by loading it, perform registration and processing of acoustic emission signals. The product is scanned by a linear inductor through which a pulsed electric current is passed with a density ensuring that the inductor is not heated and sufficient to initiate an acoustic emission signal. The linear inductor is rigidly connected with the piezoelectric transducer of the acoustic emission sensor at a distance of not more than the diameter of the piezoelectric transducer.

EFFECT: providing an opportunity to control the occurrence of developing cracks with high confidence.
