FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: compression-type submersible impeller pump unit includes an electric motor, a protector with axial shaft support, and at least one pump section. The section includes: a shaft, a housing, a stack assembly of centrifugal stages. Each stage comprises a guide device made in the form of a whole-cast iron structures and a working wheel with a drive and cover disks, between which the blades are placed, and a hub. The devices are fixed relative to the housing. The shafts of the sections rest on each other. The shaft of the lower section rests on a shaft in the protector, in which the axial bearing is in the form of a hydrodynamic bearing. The number of blades of the wheel is five, and the number of vanes of the guide device is three. Each blade and each vane have an entrance angle in the range from 3° to 20°. The height of blades lies in the range 4.5-5.5 mm, and the height of vanes is within 4.0-5.0 mm, each vane has a coverage angle in the range from 120° to 180°. Height of the blade rim does not exceed minimum distance between the drive and cover wheel discs and the radius of fillets is from 0.2 to 0.8 of this value.
EFFECT: higher reliability of operation in wells with small and average flow rates, providing optimal unit lifetime for corrosion resistance and wear resistance, optimized mechanical and physicochemical properties of the stages.
