FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method of forming part of composite material with a ceramic matrix is to apply a barrier layer in the inner channel of the ceramic element to close the inner channel in order to form a mould containing the cavity. Then, a part of the cavity of the mould is filled with ceramic foam and the ceramic element and ceramic foam are treated to produce composite material with a ceramic matrix. In another embodiment, a part of composite material with a ceramic matrix is a blade, and when filling a part of the mould cavity with ceramic foam, the ceramic foam is applied to the barrier layer to form a plug. Another invention of the group relates to a composite material with a ceramic matrix for gas turbines comprising of a ceramic element, a barrier layer and ceramic foam. The ceramic element contains an inner channel, the barrier layer is applied in the inner channel of the ceramic element to close the inner channel in order to form a mould containing the cavity. Ceramic foam is applied to the barrier layer and fills the cavity of the mould. The ceramic element, containing the ceramic foam, is treated to form a part of composite material with a ceramic matrix.
EFFECT: simplification of the method of manufacturing a part from composite material with a ceramic matrix having internal cavities or channels.
