FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of making parts from composite material with ceramic matrix. Disclosed is method of making part from composite material with ceramic matrix, comprising a step of infiltration of the fibrous preform with a molten composition containing mainly silicon by weight, the fibrous preform comprising silicon carbide fibers, wherein silicon carbide powder is present in pores of said preform, wherein average size of silicon carbide crystallites in powder is less than average size of silicon carbide crystallites in fibers, wherein ceramic matrix is formed in pores of fibrous preform during infiltration to produce part made from composite material.
EFFECT: technical result is obtained by disclosed method part from composite material with ceramic matrix has improved mechanical properties compared to parts, obtained using previously known methods.
