FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed invention relates to a method of producing composite material with a ceramic matrix, used for devices requiring thermal strength at high temperatures, such as jet engine. Method of producing composite material with a ceramic matrix comprises molding a ceramic compacted briquette comprising one or more reinforcing fibers and powder, each of which contains SiC; attaching an ingot of a three-component or more multi-component Si alloy containing Y to a ceramic compacted briquette; and infiltration of alloy into ceramic pressed briquette by heating to temperature at which alloy is melted.
EFFECT: preventing destruction of reinforcing fibers by high temperatures.
