SUBSTANCE: according to the invention, the medium voltage substation comprises two busbar systems powered by two independent high voltage alternating current sources with different neutral grounding method, with three-phase current transformers connected to them via circuit breakers, as well as relay protection devices installed in the circuit of each connection, the busbar systems are connected by a bridge in the form of a series-connected breaker and cable, and additionally the relay protection device against the single-phase ground fault is connected to the busbar system with isolated neutral, the discriminating element of which is connected to the zero-wire of the three-phase current transformer, and the actuator - to the disabling circuits of the feeder breaker.

EFFECT: exclusion of a break in the supply of consumers and the associated harm from the lack of electricity.
