FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: applicator comprises a container with a store of an appropriate medium and an applicator body mounted on the container in such a way that the medium is supplied to be applied to the outside of the container due to the capillary effect. According to the method, a hose is formed from a thermoplastic plastic material by means of extrusion, and the hose is inserted into a mould. A container closed from the bottom side is formed by means of expanding the hose in the mould. The container in the mould is at least partially filled with a suitable medium. The container is separated from the hose to form an access opening on the upper side of the container. The applicator body is placed in the position of use by means of at least partially inserting into the hose opening. The applicator body is fastened, preferably with simultaneously forming a container lock by means of moving the movable parts of the mould.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of the applicator production process.
