SUBSTANCE: method for operation of lithium-ion accumulator battery as a part of autonomous system of power supply of artificial earth satellite (AES) consists in control of accumulator voltage, performance of charging and discharging processes, periodic balancing of accumulators by voltage, performance of boost charging process and preservation in charged state. Periodically, the battery unbalance rate with the maximum and minimum current voltages and the maximum time before the next balancing of the batteries by voltage are calculated, and balancing is carried out not later than the calculated time.

EFFECT: invention allows to simplify the method for operation of lithium-ion accumulator battery as a part of autonomous system of power supply of artificial earth satellite.
