FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device (1) is intended for clamping the holder of a drilling, milling or abrasive tool in a balancing machine and includes a landing block (2) with a mounting hole (9) for the tool connecting shank and a clamping collet (10). The rod (20) of actuating unit (18) for operating the clamping collet (10) is slidably located in the central bore (19) of the landing block (2). The rod (20) comprises at one end a force input body (22) on which several compression springs (30, 31) are supported, by means of which the clamping collet (10) can be compressed. The compression springs (30, 31) are arranged and/or configured so that their forces acting under the compressed clamping collet (10) on the force input body (22) load it asymmetrically with respect to the rod axis (20).
EFFECT: facilitating rod movement and simplifying manufacturing.
