FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: assembly and quality of an electronic cigarette ("e-Cig") can be tested and verified using imaging technologies. Forming an infrared ("IR") image allows one to identify whether the temperature in the e-Cig cigarette is uniform during its use. Through the formed image, points of potential burning can be identified by identifying points where the temperature is unusually high or non-uniform. Such information on the temperature can be used to calibrate the power supply of an e-Cig cigarette.
EFFECT: reducing the risk of burning.
