SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic systems for steam generation, such as electronic nicotine delivery systems. Electronic steam generation system has a longitudinal axis and comprises: a control unit and at least one cartridge, made with possibility of attachment to control unit and disconnection from it in direction in general along said longitudinal axis; and an induction heating unit comprising at least one excitation winding and at least one heating element. At least one heating element is located in at least one cartridge. When connected to control unit, at least one cartridge is located so that at least one heating element is located within at least one excitation winding. Electronic steam generation system is made with possibility of selective activation of various parts of cartridge, using at least one excitation winding and at least one heating element.
EFFECT: providing an aerosol to a user.
