FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves measuring the polymerization reaction, including reactor temperature and concentration of the agent of induced condensation (AIC) in the polymerization reactor. The equivalent partial pressure ((RAIC)equiv) AIC is calculated. The polymerization reaction is located in a two-dimensional space determined by the temperature coordinate in the reactor and the coordinate ((RAIC)equiv). The arrangement in the two-dimensional space is compared with the location of the non-sticking mode region defined as the space between the upper temperature limit (UTL) curve and the lower temperature limit (LTL) curve. The polymerization reaction parameters are adjusted to maintain the polymerization reaction in the non-sticking mode.
EFFECT: corrective actions before disruption of continuity while maintaining in the reactor the maximum concentration of the induced condensation agent with achievement of high productivity with significantly lower risks.
