FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: lubrication method includes supply of magnetically active powdered lubricant to teeth surfaces of gear rim made of ferromagnetic material, rubbing during the wheel rotation, to the zone of the wheel engagement with the paired wheel of the transmission placed in the enclosed body. The bases of the gear rim recesses removed from engagement zone during the wheel rotation are subjected to blowing by at least one air jet from the nozzle fixed on the side of one of the gear rim ends at the area of the circumference of the gear rim recesses base with a gap relative to the wheel side and with the orientation perpendicular thereto. Air to form the jet is taken from the inside of the transmission body. Pair of annular plates made of diamagnetic material is fixed on ends of teeth of the gear rim. The outer diameters of both plates are set equal to each other. The inner diameters of both plates are set larger than the diameter of the gear rim base circumference. The inner diameter of the plate on side of the gear rim end opposite the end of the gear rim where the nozzle is located, is set to be larger than the inner diameter of the other plate.
EFFECT: improved quality of gear wheel lubrication.
