FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: toothed gear comprises toothed wheels mounted on shafts installed by bearings in a closed housing with a magnetically active powdered lubricant placed in it and activated by the magnetic field. The toothed wheels, shafts and bearings are made of ferromagnetic material, and the housing is made of diamagnetic material. The surfaces of the transmission elements, made of a ferromagnetic material, and subject to the undesirable ingress of magnetically active powdered lubricant, the ends of the toothed gears, the shafts and the bearings are shielded by plates made of a diamagnetic material. The plates are equidistant to the shielded surfaces and are located at a distance relative to them and are fixed relative to these surfaces by means of supporting elements reinforced on these surfaces and equidistant to these surfaces and connected with the plates of strengthening ribs. The gaps between the plates and the support elements along their outer perimeters are covered by the same strengthening ribs. The plates of the toothed gears and bearings are disks with central holes for shafts, and the shaft plates have a tubular shape.
EFFECT: increase the quality of the toothed gear lubrication process.
