FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: paired transmission gears mounted on shafts are located in a closed housing, with magnetoactive powder lubricant placed therein and activated by a magnetic field. Gear wheels and shafts are made of ferromagnetic material, and the transmission housing is made of diamagnetic material. At the ends of the gears, annular patches of diamagnetic material are attached. The outer diameters of these patches are not less than the diameters of the gear wheels recesses circumferences where they are attached. The internal diameters of these patches are equal to the diameter of the seating holes of the gears. On shafts sections, between the gear wheels and the transmission housing walls, tubular patches of diamagnetic material are attached. The internal diameters of these patches are equal to the diameters of the shafts portions where they are attached. Each tubular patch adjoins to a ring patch of a gear wheel without a backlash by one of its end faces, and to the housing wall, with the minimal backlash by the second the end face.
EFFECT: improved quality of gear wheel lubrication quality.
