FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: composite cathode material production technique comprises the preparation of the active component powder and of the matrix metal nanopowder, the mix and intermix of the active component powder with the matrix metal nanopowder and the obtained mixture further processing. Moreover, the hydride of the ceric group metal, including the lanthanum, cerium or praseodymium, are used in the capacity of the active component powder of the composite cathode material. The iridium nanopowder is used in the capacity of the matrix metal powder. The mixture of powders is prepared at the ratio of 1-13 wt %. active component powder, matrix metal nanopowder - the rest. The thermal annealing of the obtained mixture is consistently carried out under vacuum at a temperature of 850-950°C till the thorough chemical decontamination after the mixing of powders. Then the elevated-temperature magnetic-impulse compaction is carried out under vacuum at a temperature of 400-500°C and under the compaction pressure of 08-1.5 hPa, and the following vacuum sintering is carried out at a temperature of 1500-1600°C.
EFFECT: invention provides an opportunity to lower the emissive cathode inhomogenuity significantly.
