FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: structure of a volume solid electrolyte in a nanosize range is formed from crystallites with size of 1-100 nm with a disorderly near-surface layer, connected to each other by means of ultrathin borders, which, as well as a near-surface layer, have a higher conductivity, besides, the formed structure, apart from increased total conductivity, also has a higher stability in time at isothermic curing in a working range of temperatures of the electrochemical device making 500-800°C, relative to available microcrystalline structures of a solid electrolyte. There are also methods and conditions proposed to form a volume solid electrolyte with such new structure in a nanosize range with application of low-aggregated powders produced by method of laser ablation, their compaction, and also compaction of thin films produced by Tape Casting technology, into volume items by method of magnetic-pulse pressing.
EFFECT: increased energy efficiency of electrochemical devices, improved main consumer properties.
