FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vortex acoustic flow transducer comprises a body with a flow section 1, a bluff body 2, a piezoelectric emitter 3 and a piezoelectric receiver 4 with first and second disk piezoelectric elements 5 and 6, respectively, installed on the same axis diametrically opposite behind the bluff body 2 so that their radiating surfaces are parallel to each other, a generator 7, first 8 and second 9 isolating transformers with first, second and third windings each, an amplifier 10, a filter 11, a phase detector 12, a microprocessor unit 13. The flow transducer has two independently operating conversion channels - a flow conversion channel and a temperature conversion channel. The flow conversion channel includes a piezoelectric transducer and piezoelectric receiver, ultrasonic frequency signal generator, first and second windings of isolating transformers, a phase detector. The temperature conversion channel includes a piezoelectric transducer and a piezoelectric receiver, third windings of isolating transformers, an amplifier, a filter. Isolation of channels is ensured by the channels operating at different frequencies: flow measurement channel - at main width mode, and temperature measurement channel - at main radial mode frequency of piezoelectric element vibrations. According to the measured temperature of the medium, the viscosity and density of the medium and mass flow are calculated, corrections are made for change in viscosity.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurements, design simplification.
