FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, specifically, to vortex flow meters, designed for measurement of flow rate of liquids and gases, and may be used in different industries for the purpose of control, regulation and accounting of flows of substances. The vortex flow meter comprises a pipeline 1, a shedding bar 2 arranged across the flow, two piezoelements 3, 4, installed diametrically oppositely downstream the shedding bar, a generator of a signal of ultrasonic frequency 5, a generator of rectangular pulses 6, a phase changer 7 at π/2, two keys 8, 9, a phase detector 10, a bandpass filter 11 and a unit of conversion of phase shift into an output signal 12. The output signal of the generator of rectangular pulses 6 represents a sequence of rectangular pulses with porosity of two and duration equal to the time of delay of an ultrasonic signal in a controlled medium.
EFFECT: higher reliability of measurements in entire range of working values of temperature, simplified functional circuit of a flow meter.
