FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: in the fire-extinguishing method using a gas-liquid mixture which is carried out by means of a vessel, in which the fire-extinguishing agent is stored and which is connected to a starting cylinder with the working gas, the vessel, in which the fire-extinguishing agent is stored, is fixed by brackets to the engineering structure of the room and equipped with a gas phase discharge device, combined with a measuring feeler for the fire-extinguishing agent and a device for forming a gas-liquid mixture of vortex type, which is designed in the form of a conical mixing chamber with a tangential gas inlet in the upper part, then is connected by a flexible high-pressure hose for working gas, such as nitrogen or CO2, to the vessel from the starting cylinder. The gas supply is carried out along a vortex element coaxial to the chamber and made in the form of a conical perforated helix with a perforation coefficient in the range of 50÷80%, and the supply of the gas-liquid mixture to the central pipeline is carried out from the lower part of the chamber connected to the fire-extinguishing agent discharge device, combined with a safety valve, while the vertical branch pipe of the chamber through a tee is connected to the fire-extinguishing agent filling device and a pressure indicator, and the formed gas-liquid mixture is directed through the central pipeline to the node point of the distribution network, and then through the distribution network to all sprayers. Each sprayer or assembly of sprayers are provided with an orientor in one or two planes, and each sprayer is made from a base in the form of a fitting with a channel and a divider attached to the holders, and the sprayer base is connected to at least two arch-shaped holders that hold the bushing with a divider, fixed on it and designed as a diffuser with a shoulder bent toward the base with lobes, located along the generatrix of the conical surface of the shoulder, and inside the divider a spray nozzle is additionally installed, which is designed as a cup, fastened by at least three radial, horizontal, flat lobes to the inner surface of the divider, with the cup axis coinciding with the axes of the through-channel of the fitting and bushing, and its inner cavity being directed towards the bushing.

EFFECT: increase in the response speed of the fire-extinguishing system.
