FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to firefighting equipment. Modular fire extinguishing system with a vortex device for the formation of a gas-liquid mixture contains a vessel with a fire extinguishing agent, a starting cylinder with a working gas, a network of pipelines with sprinklers. Vessel contains a gas phase release device combined with a measuring probe for the fire extinguishing agent and is equipped with a vortex-type gas-liquid mixture forming device which is made in the form of a conical mixing chamber with a tangential inlet in the upper part made in the form of a flexible high pressure hose connected to a starting cylinder , filled with the working gas. Admission of the extinguishing agent is carried out by a vortex element, made in the form of a conical perforated spiral. Gas-liquid mixture is fed into a central pipeline from a lower part of the chamber connected to a discharge device of the extinguishing agent combined with a safety valve. Vertical branch pipe of the mixing chamber is connected to a flood device of the fire extinguishing agent and a pressure indicator. Starting cylinder is equipped with a shut-off device for electrical or thermomechanical start-up. Each node of a distribution network includes a gas-liquid mixture distribution device, and when dividing the flow into two directions a standard tee is used, and when the flow is divided into three or more directions, a chamber type distribution device is used. Sprinkler contains a base that is connected to at least two arch-shaped holders that hold a sleeve with a divider attached to it, made in the form of a diffuser with a belt bent towards the base with beams arranged along the geneatrixes of the belt conical surface. Diffuser is additionally installed inside the divider, made in the form of a cup, fixed by means of radial, horizontally arranged, flat beams to the inner surface of the divider. Cup axis coincides with the axes of a through channel of a fitting and a bushing, and its inner cavity is directed towards the bushing. Cup of the sprinkler is made in the form of a truncated cone with an internal cavity directed towards the sleeve and made in the form of a surface of a flattened cone, an equidistant and congruent outer surface of the cup. Spiral grooves are made on the inner surface of the cup of the sprinkler, made in the form of a flattened cone and directed towards the bushing.
EFFECT: faster operation of fire extinguishing system.
