FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: composition contains from 45 to 55% by weight of an ethylene polymer (A) having a density of at least 968 kg/m3, and 55 to 45% by weight of an ethylene polymer (B) having a density of from 920 to 955 kg/m3. In addition, the composition has a density of between 952 and 961 kg/m3, a melt index at an increased shear strain HLMI of 18-28 g/10 min, an HLMI/MI2 ratio equal to 80-150, and a modulus of elasticity of the melt G'(G"=3000) of 1200-1600 Pa. In this case, HLMI and MI2 are measured in accordance with ISO1133 at a temperature of 190°C, with loads equal to 21.6 kg and 2.16 kg respectively.
EFFECT: good workability balance, high stiffness and good mechanical characteristics, especially resistance to environmental stress cracking and to impact.
