FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: control device of a vehicle drive system comprising a continuously variable transmission mechanism, a transmission mechanism, and a clutch gear, wherein the clutch gear carries out selective change between the first power transmission path and the second power transmission path. The first transmission path transmits the torque to the output shaft via the transmission mechanism. The second transmission path transmits the torque to the output shaft via the continuously variable transmission mechanism. The electronic control unit selectively changes the transmission path during the movement to one of the first path and the second path by means of controlling the clutch. When the transmission path is changed, the control unit controls the operating point of the internal combustion engine so that the operating point crosses the line of the optimum fuel consumption of the engine.
EFFECT: fuel consumption is optimized.
