FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: hollow fibre filter cartridge containing a plurality of clusters of hollow fibres. Each cluster comprises a plurality of hollow fibres arranged parallel to each other, each cluster having the first end of the cluster and the second end of the cluster, a body shell. The said shell has the first end and the second end, each end of the shell having a hole, the first end cover of the shell. The said cover closes the hole in the said first end of the body shell. The said cover has a plurality of the end cover holes and the second end cover of the body, wherein the said cover closes the hole in the said second end of the body shell. The said cover has a plurality of the end cover holes. The said clusters are arranged parallel to each other within the said body shell, wherein each cluster has a portion inserted into the hole of the end cover formed in the said first end cover of the body shell and sealed against the said hole by means of a pouring agent or a fixing agent. Each cluster has the second portion inserted into the hole formed in the said second end cover of the body shell and sealed against the said hole by means of a pouring agent or a fixing agent. Each end shell cover is made of a material, the thermal expansion coefficient of which is sufficiently close to the coefficient of the thermal expansion of the pouring agent or fixing agent so that when the said cartridge is subjected to steam sterilisation or sterilisation in an autoclave, cracks or holes do not arise (a) either in the end cover shell or area occupied by the pouring agent or the fixing agent, (b) neither between the cover and the area occupied by the pouring agent or the fixing agent. A method for assembling a hollow fibre filter cartridge, a method for pretreating cartridges, and a rectangular module are also claimed.
EFFECT: minimization of thermally induced stresses, optimisation of cartridges.
