FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: automated car parking facility contains tiered cells for storing cars, at least one reception area for the entry and exit of cars, a lift and a manipulator to move the car from the receiving platform to the elevator platform and back. The essence of the proposed solution is that the manipulator is installed with the ability to move above the receiving platform and the elevator platform, brought to the lower position, and with the possibility of fixed stops above each of them. In this case, the manipulator is equipped with movable grippers and sensors to determine the position of the car and determine the position of the grippers with respect to the car. The sensors are connected to a control system that, in accordance with the sensors readings, controls the manipulator's drive mechanisms and grippers.
EFFECT: improvement of parking facilities at the expense of reducing accuracy requirements for cars placing at the reception area, improving the work reliability in the conditions of high contamination of the received cars, the possibility of a multiple-level placement of the receiving platform and elevator platform.
