SUBSTANCE: in the method a product list is obtained, containing the product information for the product from the server. Product information includes product names and price indices and is associated with at least one product label; the user's purchasing power index is calculated. The user's purchasing power index is measured by the price indices of the respective product types that were purchased by the user, and the personalized user's labels are obtained. The personalized labels are a set of the product labels that the user likes; a list of product recommendations is generated for the user according to the index of the user's purchasing power, personalized labels, product labels, and price indices. Product information in the list of the product recommendations is selected from the product list; and a recommendation is given to the user based on the list of the product recommendations.
EFFECT: automating the generation of product recommendations for the user.
