SUBSTANCE: in the information and measuring system for measurement of the flow and quantity of gas, consisting of the main instrument pipeline a vortex flowmeter, pressure and temperature sensors, a controller and data storage device according to the invention a bypass instrument pipeline is installed parallel to the main instrument pipeline together with a master ultrasonic flowmeter and controller-managed crane, installed in it. When the controller is designed to implement the algorithm of the flow calculation by the following formula: where Q is the flow rate, measured by a vortex transducer; q is the flow rate, measured by an ultrasonic flow meter; ƒ1 is the frequency, measured and proportional to the flow rate Q; ƒ2 is the frequency, measured and proportional to the flow rate Q-q.
