SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and may be used for vibration isolation, sound insulation in enclosed spaces when installing and installing ventilation units, compressors, generators and other equipment. This is achieved by the fact that the vibration damping insert for hollow elements of building structures, for example for the construction of a floor on an elastic base, is made in the form of a cylinder of rigid vibration damping material, inside which an elastic core is axially symmetric and coaxial, along the axis of which is rigidly fixed along the entire length of the cavity, damping disks, herewith the extreme discs are fixed "aflush" with the cylinder from a vibrodamping material, the ends of which, in turn, are placed "aflush" with side surfaces of the base plate.
EFFECT: increase in the vibration-absorbing and sound-insulating properties of the floor.
