SUBSTANCE: coverage of the communication system is limited to a two-wire transmission line, inside which mobile subscribers with transceivers are located. Electromagnetic waves are used for communication, the length of which is much greater than the width of mine workings and tunnels. The communication system consists of transceivers and a two- or three-wire communication line, each conductor of which is located on the opposite walls of the mine workings or tunnel. For the possibility of communication through rocks, the system is supplemented with relay control devices and antennas along the transmission line, which are connected to the transmission line on a signal from a stationary transceiver.

EFFECT: increased maximum range of mobile radio communication using a minimum number of stationary transceivers capable of performing the functions of base stations.
