FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: power station (1) comprises a gas turbine engine (2) with a compressor (5), compressor intake device (66), combustion chamber (6, 7) and a turbine (8, 9). Exhaust gas recirculation system (4) for returning a portion of gas spent in the gas turbine to inlet (18) of the gas turbine compressor (2) and a waste-heat boiler (3). The compressor intake device (66) contains a sector (64) of fresh air inlet and sector (65) of exhaust gas inlet. In the compressor (5) and/or in intake device (66) the compressor is provided with a common control element (37, 38) for controlling the flow of fresh air (61) and recirculation flow of exhaust gas (69). Physical separation between the fresh air flow (61) and exhaust gas recirculation flow is provided in the compressor (69) intake device (66) of or free path between physical separation of fresh air flow (61) and exhaust gas recirculation flow (69) in the compressor intake device (66), and compressor inlet (18) is too short to cause substantial transverse flows from one path to another or substantially mixing of streams.
EFFECT: recirculation of exhaust gases improves engine efficiency at the partial load stage during which only external temperature of air entering the compressor is used, and controlled application of exhaust gases recirculation improves dynamic engine response to output power change and makes it possible to predict reduction of polluting gases emission, such as nitrogen oxide from the compressor.
