SUBSTANCE: glazing unit of an aircraft comprises a glazing including a layer having an outer surface and an elongated portion, in this case the thickness of the elongated portion is less than the thickness of the remaining layer, at that the elongated portion forms an edge along the layer perimeter, a pressure seal, an optional unit for removing static discharges. The pressure seal comprises a body and a built-in compression stop. The optional unit comprises a flexible electrical conductive element comprising a first edge in electrical contact with the outer surface of the layer and/or an optional electrical conductive coating, and the second edge configured for contacting the pressure seal. A through-hole is contained in the body of the pressure seal. The compression stop is in the form of an annular element, which hardness is higher than the hardness of the body, and it is enclosed inside the body and partially surrounds the through-hole.
EFFECT: reduced loosening of tightening or torque in the course of operation.
