FIELD: examination of documents.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an automated workplace for passport documents control, which allows to solve the problem of establishing the fact of the document's authenticity and its ownership to the bearer. Automated workplace for the passport documents control includes a passport scanning module, module for receiving a digital description of scanned passports data, module for receiving data from a passport chip, passport identification module, fingerprint scanner and module for identifying the biometric parameters of the passport holder.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the reliability of passport documents control of citizens by identifying the biometric data of the passport holder.
