SUBSTANCE: induction power transmission system is configured to transmit electric power from the electric power transmitter (101) to the electric power receiver (103) via a wireless power signal. The system supports communication from the power transmitter (101) to the power receiver (105) based on the power signal load modulation. Power receiver (105) transmits (507) the first message to power transmitter (101), which contains the requirement to power signal in standby mode for power signal during standby phase. The power transmitter (101) receives a message (507), and when the system enters the standby phase, power transmitter (101) provides a power signal according to the requirement for the power signal in standby mode during the standby phase.

EFFECT: providing a configurable power receiver's standby phase by maintaining battery power or providing a quick initialization of the power transmission phase.
