FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing methyl (phenyl) siloxane oligomers with terminal triphenyl-silyl groups of the general formula Ph3SiO[Si(Me)(Ph)O]NSiPh3, where N≥4, which consists in the interaction of triphenylsilanol as a source of the terminal triphenyl-silyl groups with dimethoxy- or diethoxymethylphenylsilane as a source of [MePhSiO]-links in the chain when the calculated molar ratio of dialkoxymethylphenylsilane to triphenylsilanol, in the presence of acetic acid as a reagent that provides acidohydrolytic polycondensation, and the catalytic quantities of the catalyst, which is a mineral acid, at a temperature of 95-100°C and stirring for 1 hour, followed by stripping of solvents at an atmospheric pressure and vacuum stripping of volatile substances.
EFFECT: obtaining of target products with narrow distribution of molecular masses and high yield from easily available raw materials.
