FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: heat-insulating product is obtained from a mixture comprising, wt %: mullite-siliceous fiber 25.0-40.0, porous fractionated filler of corundum composition 40.0-60.0, refractory clay 10.0-25.0, technical lignosulfonates 2.0-5.0 per dry substance. These materials are mixed, moulded, dried and fired at a temperature of 1450-1480°C. For the products obtained, the compressive strength is 7-9 MPa.
EFFECT: increase of strength and maximum temperature of exploitation of products based on mullite-siliceous fiber.
