Device for routing messages in a communication network comprises a routing controller for routing messages to a plurality of network nodes, said controller comprises a global instance which enables routing of messages to a routing set from node devices, a local instance for routing packets to a neighboring node device adjacent to the device, wherein the neighboring node device is selected regardless of whether the neighboring node device belongs to the routing set from the node devices, and wherein the routing controller is configured to use a local instance for routing multi-address message messages to the node devices.

EFFECT: high efficiency of routing messages in a network.
