FIELD: pharmacology.

SUBSTANCE: invention is a means for stimulation of liver tissue regeneration at parenteral administration, characterized by containing a liquid form of viable cells of the Bacillus subtilis strain VKPM B-10641 at a concentration of at least 107 CFU/ml in an isotonic sodium chloride solution, as well as a method for stimulation of liver tissue regeneration, comprising parenteral administration of the means for liver tissue regeneration stimulation for a period necessary to achieve a therapeutic effect, characterized by application of the liquid form of viable cells of the Bacillus subtilis bacteria strain VKPM B-10641 at a concentration of at least 107 CFU/ml in an isotonic sodium chloride solution as a suspension as a means for liver tissue regeneration stimulation, while the said means is administered intravenously by dropwise infusion or once intravenously by a jet in an amount of not more than 250 mcl per 1 kg of live body weight.

EFFECT: increased stimulation of hepatocytes proliferation with preserved histological structure and replacement of the affected liver parenchyma with a healthy one for treatment of hepatitis, cirrhosis, acute liver failure, chronic liver failure due to increased accumulation of probiotic Bacillus subtilis in the liver.
