FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a sliding door intended for use with a rail system comprising a rail that guides the sliding motion of the door and a device for slowing down and retracting the door that brakes the sliding motion of the door at the braking position near the end position of the door and retracts the door to the final position. The sliding door comprises a whip member which is slidably attached to the door, which slides between the folded position and the extended position. The tip of the whip member is designed to cooperate with the device for slowing down and retracting. The door further comprises a roller held by the roller carriage, which is intended to move the roller between the folded position and the extended position. Transmission connects the carriage roller and whip element so that the movement of the roller in the direction of the extended positions of the roller pushes whip element in the direction of the extended position.
EFFECT: increasing the operational reliability.
