SUBSTANCE: after laying the threads of weft, vertical threads are replaced in the system of rapiers and heedless in remises between the formation zone and reed, movement of specified rapiers takes place at different height, including each separately, and then selvage thread is laid to fix the vertical layer, vertical rapier is returned in its original position. After that, the weft thread is laid. Then the weft system of threads is fixed with the help of the selvage needle, rapiers with weft threads are returned to the original position. Thereafter, two portions of weft threads and two sections of vertical threads systems are moved to the edge of the fell, then the fabric formation cycle is repeated.

EFFECT: improvement of three-dimensional orthogonal fabrics by reducing the irregularities of its properties, expansion of assortment opportunities due to the denser laying vertical layers of threads and creating variable section along the fabric sample, improving the performance of equipment.
