FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring technology and can be used to measure the electrostatic intensity during geophysical studies of the atmosphere and outer space. Electric field meter rocking type has sensitive electrode, connected through the instrumentation amplifier to the measuring input of the phase detector, rocking electromagnetic exciter of resonance type, including an actuating coil, a rocking electrode of a ferromagnetic material fixed to an elastic suspension, and installed with the possibility of changing the electrostatic coupling of the sensitive electrode to the measured field, a generator consisting of an amplifier, rectifier and adjustable resistance, connected to the inverting input of the amplifier. In addition, installed speed transducer of oscillatory motion, auxiliary amplifier, a low-pass filter, a current source, a reference voltage source, and a comparator. Cutoff frequency of the low-pass filter is set equal to (1.1-1.8) Fm, where Fm is the frequency of mechanical resonance of the vibrating electrode. Speed transducer of oscillatory motion is made in the form of an additional inductance coil, installed coaxially with the drive coil on a common frame in different sections, which are separated by a short-circuited metal non-magnetic shield, and a permanent magnet, installed in the belt of fluctuation of the vibrating electrode at the additional inductance coil.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the reliability of the meter and the stabilization of the measurement accuracy under the influence of destabilizing factors and the variation of the resonant mechanical frequency of the vibrating electrode in the production process.
