SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of metallurgy, namely, to the compositions of wear-resistant alloys based on iron. It may be used for the manufacture of parts that work in friction and wear. Wear-resistant iron-based alloy contains, wt %: carbon 3.2–3.5; manganese 20.0–24.0; titanium 0.05–0.1; boron 0.6–0.75; niobium 0.4–0.6; nitrogen 0.00006–0.0001; phosphorus 0.2–0.25; iron – the rest.
EFFECT: alloy has the high wear resistance.
