SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely, to the compositions of wear-resistant alloys based on iron. It may be used for the manufacture of parts that work in friction and wear. Wear-resistant iron-based alloy contains, mass %: carbon 3.3–3.9; manganese 20.0–24.0; titanium 0.15–0.25; selenium 0.002–0.003; boron 0.25–0.35; aluminum 0.1–0.15; cobalt 0.2–0.4; iron – the rest.
EFFECT: alloy has a high wear resistance.
