FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to monitoring and ensuring safety of technological processes of underground gas storage, can be used in nuclear, gas, oil, and chemical industries. Method comprises injection or collection of commercial gas through a well and its storage, simultaneous monitoring of process parameters, acoustic effects, and then diagnostic prediction of the formation of cracks and fractures in the well design, the degree of danger of possible gas leakage during depressurisation in the zones of structural elements and technological units by explicit deformation of the curves of change in the recorded parameters when a paired group of shut-off valves passes through the zone of depressurisation of the intra-housing structures of the underground gas storage well. Based on the prediction results, the risks and possible risks are assessed, as well as the permissibility of continuing the technological process of underground gas storage during the functioning of the well with the diagnosed zone of its depressurisation.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of locating the point of depressurisation of a well.
